After purchase

Happy with Celestium? Just carry on.

Ready to keep using Celestium? After the trial you can buy a license.

You then receive the full version, which you install over the trial. Your charts, folders and settings are preserved. The first time you start it, Celestium opens the license window; enter the license key from your purchase email there. If you choose Celestium Pro later, you pay only the price difference.

For transferring charts from Solar Fire, Astrolog and Planetdance among others, and from AAF, CEXF, CSV and text files.

  • Celestium Import

Opening Celestium after downloading

Celestium is not signed with Microsoft or Apple yet. Windows and macOS therefore show a warning the first time you start it. This is how you open the program anyway.

Windows

  1. Start the file you downloaded. If Windows shows the message "Windows protected your PC", choose More info.
  2. Then choose Run anyway. The installation continues.

macOS

  1. Put Celestium in Applications and open it. If macOS says it cannot open Celestium, close the message with Done or Cancel, not with Move to Trash.
  2. Open System Settings and choose Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll to the Security heading. Next to the message about Celestium, choose Open Anyway and confirm with your password.
  4. In the next message, choose Open. From then on Celestium starts without these steps.

If macOS says Celestium is damaged, the Open Anyway button is not there. Open Terminal instead and run this command. It removes the download mark from the app and changes nothing else:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Celestium.app

Then start Celestium again from Applications.
